Michael Crichton :(
Michael Crichton, author of Jurassic Park and The Lost World, and probably other books, died yesterday. This man had a big hand in encouraging my love for science, and added a lot of magic and beauty to the lives of many, many people. He was only 66 , but he left a mark on the world that won’t soon fade away.

That’s a nice picture of a Deinonychus! But where are its feathers?

Deironychus.

Because of the cloning techniques they used and the inclusion of frog DNA to fill in the gaps if the incomplete genome, these Deinonychi hatched withou the ability to grow feathers. They are freaks of science.

OJ is right. Dinosaurs - what’s left them - are in the rocks, and it’s in the rocks that REAL scientists do REAL work.

Clever girl…..

I’ll be setting up the memorial for him at work today.
The man who brought us together with “clever girl” will be dearly missed.
Rest in peace, Robert Muldoon.

I say we clone him using squid DNA to fill in any gaps…

I doubt we’ll have to. Life, as they say, finds a way.

If Crichton comes back part squid, does that mean he can save printing costs by using his own ink?

I believe you just audibly experienced my response to that. What I mean is, lol.
