HAY GUIZE LET’S BLOCK THE RODE LOL
I work on the second floor. My desk is by the window. The window overlooks a street. Across the street is a Starbucks. Frequently, things happen in the street or at Starbucks. Here’s what happened a few minutes ago:

Yes, that’s right. It’s a Tile for Less truck, parked in the middle of the street while the driver goes inside to get his coffee.
Here’s what you need to understand: a few days ago, we saw a minivan parked in the same spot, with the driver doing the same thing. Bill happened to be out there when the driver came out, and we watched from the second floor as Bill explained that what he was doing is rude. What was the man’s justification? “I do this everyday, ” he told Bill. Right. And Ken Ham rapes piglets everyday. Does that make it right?
So I watched and waited for the Tile For Less driver to come back to his truck.

HOLY COWS!! It’s the same guy!
Unfortunately, the Tile For Less website doesn’t appear to have any sort of email address listed, so I can’t send them these photos. They do have a staff page for the Washington division, and I was able to find out the guy’s name. I won’t reveal it here because that would be mean.

UPDATE! Coworker Christopher Giddens called Tile For Less to ask if they had an email address, and they said they don’t! Who has a website but no email address!!

what would be neat is to find out whether or not his delivery vehicles have consistent license plates. In other words, you’d be able to call the police and report the vehicle with its license plate number from your window just by knowing which truck he was in on any given day. another funny thing to do would be to time how long it takes for him to get his coffee, run downstairs, and jam something in one of the valvestems on his tires so he’ll have a flat by the time he gets outside.
i’ve only ever done that once… that was over 15 years ago when i was mad at the neighbors for being obnoxious, so i flattened whoever was blocking our mailbox’s front tire.

or if you’re not wanting to be so mean, just leave him a parking tutorial flyer.

I wrote them a letter on your behalf. I suggest you print out the photos and mail a letter, too.

Holy cow, did you really??
And Skot, no, I don’t want to be mean. And since the parking flier only addresses cars parking incorrectly in actual parking spots, it might not make sense.

God will punish him in the lake of fire.

Welp, if anything deserves infinite punishment, it’s this.
I was not at work yesterday, but my coworkers tell me he was responsible for a small traffic jam. And it’s occurred to me that I should just go down there and address him by name and ask him to pull his truck to the side of the street. That should freak him out. Unless his name is on his shirt.
