Banana Bread Beer? HOORAY!
On Friday night after eating Korean food with my friends, instead of joining them for the traditional post-dinner hangout session, I decided that, since I was so tired and had to wake up the next morning for a training class at the Seattle Aquarium, I should probably go home and rest.
But, since I was so close to Central Market, I also decided I needed a beer.
After getting distracted by the wide variety of ice cream (and deciding on Mukilteo Mudd), I arrived at the beer section. CM always has an incredible array of really good craft beers, and there is always something for someone with eccentric tastes like myself. I asked my wife to help me find something weird. The instant the words left my lips, I spotted this beast:
Wow! Banana Bread Beer! I didn’t even look at anything else. What could possibly be better?
A lot of things :-(.
The color was like iced tea. Not even very strong iced tea. It had no head. It did smell like bananas, but it tasted like watered down banana water and sour. I couldn’t even finish it. I swear to God, I have never not finished a beer. What a disappointment!
